Optical Low Pass Filter Test Marketing

Don't you wish that Canon decided to do a test market on the Low-Pass Filter Effect Cancellation on crop bodies like say the 2008 50D or 2009 T1i / 500D?

Both bodies have a smaller pixel size of 4.7µm as compared to the D800E or D810's larger 4.87µm pixel size.

If it was too early why not start with the T6i,T6s / 750,760D with pixel size of 3.7µm.

Nikon already have bodies without Optical Low Pass Filters.

The D800E was announced February 2012 and as by April 2012 the D3200 was announced.

It would be good for Canon to go without a filter at all, like the D810, instead of having a filter layer then a cancelation layer (like the D800E and 5DsR). Certainly bringing these features to APS-C would be a good thing.

No AA filter is perfect, but it's ALWAYS better at preventing aliasing or moire than removing it in software. I don't think personally the AA filter is a bad thing at all.
