<p>There definitely see to be a lot of EOS M patents and talk happening at the moment. We expect to see at least one higher end EOS M camera announced and delivered this year.</p>

I still haven't been able to work with the 11-22, but I have shot with the 8-15 extensively, and yes, on the M, where it shines.

Cmon canon make it happen.

My M is the daily cam, making beautiful shots happen week on week.

Yes! I'm really interested in upcoming pro M model, and some high end ef-m glass. Currently I'm using FF 6D, but looking something smaller and lighter. Current ef-m glass and M3 is nice, but I'm hoping something little more.

I am a happy owner of the 11-22mm. As many here have reported, it is a most excellent UWAZ. This possible lens is wider and faster, very good attributes to be sure. It would really have to be stellar though, to make me part with my 11-22.

So now I would like some rumors about some fast (> f/2.4) primes. I don't even care if they're actual rumors, just make something up and I'll be a little happier. I (we?) need a little hope. Is there anybody listening? Is this thing on?

The image height at the wide end is not APS-C. 9mm may not achievable, but this might be a 10 or 11 -18mm lens.

I thought that maybe it was a circular fisheye zoom, because the of the image circle at the wide end, sort of like the image circle of the 8-15mm L on full frame doesn't cover the full sensor.
Edit: just saw the angle of view. LOL

love my 11-22mm. i wish it is abit wider like 10-22 . or canon lower the crop factor, lol, which will never happen.
