This came up last night. Interesting comment on the AF system comparng speed and accuracy to the 7D and MkIII.

Thought his comment on focus/recompose was interesting, re: if you only intend to use te center point, go with the 5d MkII.

Also liked the section about the app and WIFI capabilities.

What does he mean?? Didn't really say much on the AF at all but that, does that equal you don't have to focus and recompose shots because the outer points are good or what?

The way I read it, he meant that the 6D's AF system is one of its key advantages over the 5D MkII so if you don't intend making full use of it, you might as well buy a 5D MkII instead. I guess that really depends on whether, AF system aside, you consider the 5D MkII a better camera than the 6D.

As a 5D MkII user myself, I'd have a hard time justifying a switch to the 6D right now but if I didn't already have a 5D MkII, I would choose the 6D without hesitation. The wi-fi remote features are exactly what I would like to have in a studio setting, so that I could change lighting positions while immediately viewing the effect on a tablet in my hand. I'm sure there are many other situations where untethered remote operation would be a big benefit.

I have some big mits and it supposed to pretty much be a 60D, but my hands dont dwarf my 60D! Andre the giant lives!
