....now that 70D specs are known.

How likely that next EOS M will have same sensor as 70D?

I'd love a flip-out screen, and same build quality as original EOS M.

Same sensor yes. Flip out screen, no. They are aiming at compact users who for the most part aren't used to flip out screens (except at the powershot g level, i.e. folk with half a clue) and if Canon were that keen they could have fitted one to the series one.

I reckon an electronic small VF. Not optical, but in the same place.

Finally, we're also really interested to see what happens when Canon - as it inevitably must - puts its new AF technology into a mirrorless camera. An 'EOS M2' with Dual Pixel CMOS AF and more enthusiast-oriented controls could completely transform Canon's fortunes in this sector, after the lukewarm reception received by the EOS M. This could also substantially negate one of the biggest disadvantages of mirrorless cameras so far - their relatively poor focus tracking capabilities - raising further questions about why you'd still bother with the bulk of an SLR. But that's an argument for another day.

Dual Pixel Liveview Autofocus ... If it is there on the EOS-M, we have a winner. :)

+1. I can live without the EVF, if they provide one I hope it's a hotshoe accessory to keep the body size small.

The problem with a hot-shoe EVF is that you can't use the EVF and an outboard flash simultaneously and I have a 270EX on my G10 almost all the time.

Agreed. But the problem with a integrated EVF is that it's going to most likely increase the size of the camera - and the small size is it's biggest selling point, IMO.

We'll see what Canon does...

I think one like the Sony NEX-6 EVF would be great.
