What Features I Want in the Canon EOS R6 Mark III

At this point I just want software.

- The ability to quickly add items to My Menu from the menu itself using a separate button, and not have to scroll through the entire list of options every time

- Additional software-based Custom shooting modes that aren't limited to the C1-C3 dial positions

- The ability to save my settings to file I can export/import on the SD card

- Allowing some manual controls in the Hybrid Auto mode, at least when taking the photo

- Actually remembering ALL the settings used in a custom mode (such as the viewfinder/screen auto switch settings)

- A setting to automatically switch between EFCS and mechanical shutter at specified shutter speed ranges

- Automatically syncing the internal clock to the phone time when connected, or some way to automatically change the clock for daylight savings

You are asking for pro tier components on a consumer grade camera and this is not gonna happen.
Original R6 did share sensors with the 1DXIII- it wasn't completely out of the realm of possibility for this to inherit the R3 sensor (and I wouldn't be surprised if that was the original plan given how persistent the rumors seemed for a while). But ultimately higher res and cheaper sensor is probably a win-win for Canon.

I want even better low-light performance.
Why?
Stop-motion necessitates shooting without sun light. Sure, a stop-motion person will use artificial lighting but that is always second fiddle to real sunlight. Though Aputure's new BLAIR-CG lights with 2 different red LEDs and 4 different blues are nuts. That is getting close to sunlight.
Anyway, I am hopeful that better low-light performance will be the case since the R6 is the ONLY camera that has the option of a specialized stop-motion-based firmware.

I had to remove the post yelling about SD card slots. Learn paragraphs.....

The R52 at 45mp can write 30fps to UHS-II cards in 80+ shot bursts. That will probably be the required memory card type if they choose to go dual SD. The CFe max burst isn't that much more.

I'm also a big proponent of just rolling with CRAW, that will pretty much double your maximum burst rate.
I would dispute that you "had" to remove my post for three very simple reasons:
1. if you found lack of paragraphs an issue, a simple private courtesy message asking me to edit some paragraphs in it because you feel it would be more readable would have sufficed and been the polite thing to do IMHO,
2. you've assumed that every reader objects to long paragraphs which the fact I wrote one indicates clearly not everybody minds. That said though, if someone looked at my blurb and thought "nah too long", it's their free choice to skip over it and move onto the next message.
3. deleting a paid members post that does not break any laws but just because it does not appeal to the admn person is censorship at a most dangerous level. There's already too much removal of free speech by dictators around the world; let's hope this site does not join that brigade.
PS: I'm proudly an exclusive Canon camera body customer for over 35 years. Namaste.

R6 III specs that I want:
  1. Passive venting
  2. C-Log 2
  3. Improved IBIS
  4. Tally light
  5. Shutter angle setting
  6. Full size HDMI port
  7. Pricing at or under $2,700 USD
Things I don't care about as much (but they would be nice):
  1. Higher pixel count
  2. Higher dynamic range (certainly not a decrease though)
  3. False color
  4. Brighter LCD
  5. Improved sensor speed
  6. CF Express B
  7. Open gate
I understand we probably will get less than what I want at a price higher than I am comfortable paying. Expectation readjustment likely to commence on November 6th.
