Anyone have any projections on typically how long after a release of a camera, especially one as large as the 5D Mark III will see an update to Lightroom 4 in support of it?

As soon as you get your mk III and install the Canon software, you can edit raw in photoshop or lightroom. I've added a set of instructions here:
