I think the first day when I used them the ring was not affecting the Aperture. And then I might have set something and now I want to go back to good old school dials on the body. PLS advice.
Question: How to disable the Iris / Aperture ring on 24-105 f2.8L mounted to R5m2?

Got it myself.... Had to just RTFM (Read The Fine Manual 
)... I am leaving it here for google and other lazy... I mean lost souls like me.
