R3 bug with Panning Assist?

Hi!

I have a problem with my newly bought R3 I can’t figure out.

I was going to try the Panning Assist feature and enabled it. I didn’t get the right symbol that it was active so I was just going to turn it off for now. But, when I try to turn it off it says I can’t because HF anti flicker is on. So, I then go turn off HF Antiflicker and I get a message saying I need to turn off Panning Assist to access it, so now they’re both greyed out and one block the other … how do I get out of it?

You can work around this most of the time by assigning the toggle to a button, it will disable the things it needs when pressed.
On the R7 I put the IBIS auto level on the m.fn button, it would also enable mechanical shutter when pressed.
See if that works for panning assist as well.

The only related function I found was to manually adjust HF flicker in Tv shooting mode. I don’t understand how I could turn them both on when they can’t be turned off because of each other…

I did a reset of the Basic Settings, to avoid clearing the whole camera and the issue was resolved. I tried to recreate it, but now the Pan-Assist stayed white so I could go in and out without issue, so definitely a very weird bug..
