R5 13/14 bit files

I am sure I have read somewhere in the R5 manual that when using high speed mode (H+) or the electronic shutter that the file bit depth reduces from 14 to 13. Surely this must affect the dynamic range. I only shoot in raw.
Does anybody know if this is the case with the R5 MKII, or does it use 14 bit files for all shooting modes.

Yes, it affects DR for the R5. The R5 II is 14-bit across the board.

Incidentally, H+ reduces the R5 to 13-bit, electronic shutter to 12-bit.
