R5 tilted screen going blank

Hi,

When I open the tilted screen (Canon R5) al the info stays on the screen until I rotate the screen, then it goed completely blank.
When I close the screen the screen stays blank until I turn my camera off and back on.

Is this a broken connection ?

Sorry to hear you are having an issue. If the display goes blank when rotated (vari-angle), then yes, there is a problem with the LCD. It doesn't matter what happens when you close it screen facing out. The behavior indicates a problem in the connection shaft .
