A (color) Pixel is actually an array of (typically three) sprites. The sprites are filtered for color. Either way; I was just making a joke about 2.4 million pixels going rouge.
But to correct you; The missing pixels have nothing to do with color arrays or understanding them. It has to do with the math used to represent the count.
