I don't see a 'film' section on here, so I'll post this here for now. My question is about shipping film for processing in the mail. Where I live, it's fairly hot right now (low to mid 90's F). In case you haven't seen the news Ilford just opened up a processing lab in San Clemente, CA, a thousand miles or so from me. If I send them film for processing, it's going to be 3-4 days (at least) in that kind of heat, which I understand is no bueno for film. Even if I overnight it (and doubling the expense of processing), it's going to be sitting on a hot tarmac for at least a short while. So...do I just put my rolls ready for processing in the freezer and wait for cooler temps? I've probably just answered my own question. I was just wondering what others do who send out their film. Thanks in advance.
