Show us your Hooters (Owls)

I finally found one of the owls in a hollowed tree here. Two years ago I spoke with one of the wildlife guardians who told me about owls living in this tree, but every time I went to look, it was empty. That is, until last weekend, when I bumped into the same wildlife guardian and we went to look together.

The feathers look like it got plenty wet, but I don't know birds well.

Great, that you could find one, @kaihp.
About the plumage: Same opinion here. Maybe it had a bath just before, like this one.

I forgot to update this thread. Two weeks after the previous image, I found him(?) again - this time with an impeccable feather coat.

At first, I missed him because I was expecting him to sit in the crack. But no, he was sitting just over it and I almost missed him from the camouflage.
