Sigma dock (for 50mm)

Alright, so I bought the dock. Now someone tell me what to do!

Stupid question but of course there's no answer anywhere: if the lens is backfocusing (i.e. focusing behind the focus point), do I go + or - ?

Also are all versions from the same year different? If not, is there one way to do it? i.e. I have a 5D3 and a 2014 version, can someone just tell me what to set it to?

Did the dock come with some sort of a manual? Did you read it?

Go minus for backfocusing to bring the plane of focus closer.

There are 4 distances you need to calibrate and set. Reikan Focal is highly recommended, but a simple ruler and chess board will work. Spyder LensCal is another one.

Since the AF is the most stable with the Art lenses, shoot at least 10-20 shots at each distance.
