Supertele + drop-in cpl

For those of you with big white primes and the drop-in cpl. Do you leave the filter installed 24/7 and dial it in/out as needed for every shot, or do you take it out and only insert it when the shot dictates it?

I take it out, and use it only when needed. The CPL costs you light. I didn't buy a 600mm f/4 to usually have a 600mm f/7.1.

Same here. I only use it in bright light, with water and snow.

I'm still waiting for mine, but a question here, when you pull it out and insert the clear filter, do you have any clever way, like a small pouch hanging on the strap to switch fast or something? When it's just to pull out, I can see myself changing it often in some situation where I have had to live with the lost light with the screw in filters.

I have not been in the need of swapping the CPL in and out several times on the same shoot, so that has not been an issue for me. I carry it in the box it came in.
