The Next Canon PowerShot is Coming This Year

Canon just needs to make more super zoom or just good zoom around 400mm compact camera's with raw, travel buddies to take with you to everywhere there are already so much compact camera's with 2x or 3x zoom

There are more than enough superzooms out there. Canon needs to go the other way. Something like a 20-70 equivalent with lots of speed in a small package would be great and unique.

Just charged up some old Powershots (SD900 and S110) for the grandkids to take on vacation to Yellowstone and Glacier national parks this summer. Both are still in good working order. It will be interesting to see what they bring back.

I prefer the iPhone in my pocket, M for light carry, and EF/RF for serious use. A new PowerShot would need to be revolutionary to find a way into my kit. But you never know!
