Still no announcement for a replacement of the EFS 15-85 ? Or anything close to the FF 24-105 ?
That was my go to lens on Canon 7D and now 80Dand will not move to RF until I have that ideal (for me) travel lens . The key bit here is the 15 mm which is so much better than the 18 mm.

Tbh if there's 15-50/15-60 f4 STM...It will do the job to dominates all other APS-C standard zooms.

I live on my EF 11-24 so the notion of a 10-24 is so aluring. If it addressed the small niggles in the EF 11-24 and had built-in IS, I'd buy it even though I'm still waiting for the R5 II.

As long as it allows the use of filters, which the 11-24 does due to the adapter.

They didn’t put a drop-in slot in the 100-300/2.8. Highly unlikely there would be one in an RF version. It’ll probably have a gel slot like the EF 11-24, and Fotodiox might make a holder for their dinner plate-sized filters that fit the 11-24.

I have the EF 11-24, but not the 186mm front filters. The EF-RF drop-in is great for that, and because of that an RF version will need to offer more than 1-2mm on the wide end. I do have the salad plate-sized (145mm) front filters for my TS-E 17 and I’m very glad I no longer need them. For the same reason, an RF TS UWA will need something more. AF won’t do it for me, no need for my TS-E use. A TS 14mm would be tempting, but I’d probably add it not swap the TS-E 17.

Exactly. I have the Zeiss 15 which uses a 95mm filter. Very difficult to use what few holders that allow a 100mm wide gnd. The drop in adapter for RF nearly makes EF more convenient than RF for landscape work. I nearly always have a cpl in use.

The R7 is perfectly happy with the EF-s 15-85. Losing the adapter would be nice, but in the meantime moving to the R7 is worth it for the AF improvement alone.

I see that you have added the RF-S 10-18 lens which has recently becaome available. Yet you staunchly refuse to add the RF-S 55-210mm F 5-7.1 IS STM, which has been available for some time now.

Any particular reason?

This is a very good list. Can I, perhaps, suggest a list that includes all RF mount lenses, not just Canon?
