What could rumored firmware update improve?

Another site has a rumor about a firmware update on the 6D2 coming in September. If this update happens, what might be improved? What would be beyond the possibility of improvement?

7D, firmware revision 2.0?

I could easily see a firmware update that supported Bluetooth mic and/or speakers.....

I'm interested to see if there is one in the works. The fact that DXO Mark hasn't released a review makes me wonder if Canon is getting them to hold off until the firmware update is out.

And doubles the shutter speed, megapixel count, WiFi speed and battery life, don't forget. And adds focus peaking in the OVF.

Who knows, maybe the 6D mark II is the Forrest Gump of the camera world. This firmware update might cause the mirror to flap faster and faster until it breaks off and turns it into a mirrorless competitor to the Sony A9.

It's very difficult to get reliable information about upcoming firmware unless it's part of a marketing strategy like we saw with the EOS 5D Mark II and EOS 7D.

There is always a firmware update for DSLRs and anything for the 6D Mark II is likely bug fixes, I don't recall a time image quality or that sort of thing was improved with a firmware update (feel free to correct me on this point).

I can't imagine a feature other than 4K and focus peaking people would want to see in the 6D Mark II, as it's definitely not short of features.

4k 30p MJPEG won't require much efforts to add, they can totally do it now. It won't put the 5dm4 sales at risk neither.

People forget that good support costs money for external/internal documentation, staff training, and customer interaction.
