What happened to article on Canon's patent

Some time ago, CR published a small snippet on Canon's patent for a small OVF with 100% coverage.

The CR report has since then been removed. What happened here? Canon threatened legal action?

Its always possible that it was accidentally deleted. Patents are public publications.
