I voted "wildlife", but really, "nature" would be the best category, as I shoot substantial amounts of "wildlife" (birds, snakes, invertebrates), plant macro, landscape, astro-landscape, all depending on opportunity.

60D: good-light all-around camera, focal-length-limited shooting (birds), good-light macro (love the articulated screen for low angle shots). I have a good normal zoom for this camera, the EF-S15-85, so when I go hiking to a new place and want one camera, one lens, this is the lightweight kit I take.

6D: low-light anything. Astro. Landscape. Handheld macro and close-up, 180mm lens, at ISO 3200 to 25600 (yes, I was shooting hunting spiders and moths displaying eyeshine at night using my headlamp as a light source). I have only FF primes for wide and normal for this camera, so taking a full kit on spec just doesn't happen on a long hike. If I KNOW what shot I want, I will take two or three lenses - my astro-landscape kit for hiking is 6D, 21mm f/2.8, with one or both of Sigma Art 35mm f/1.4 and Samyang 14mm f/2.8.

I use two bodies; 1DX + 5D MK III
1DX for sport, 5D for video. One backs up the other.
Favorite lens: 85 mm 1.2 for sport, 100mm 2.8 for video.
Favorite tool: monopod + hood loop for both.
Software: ACR+Photoshop for stills, Resolve for video.

I shoot mostly kids sports and figure skating, then school and church events, some portraits, and outdoor touristy stuff (when we actually do the outdoor touristy stuff).

My primary go-to gear is a 5D3 w/24-70 2.8 II and a 5D3 w/70-200 2.8 II. The latter gets the most use. For walk-around and landscapes with moving water, I'll use a 24-105 f4 IS. When light is a particular challenge, the 35 2.0 IS comes along for the ride. The 7D still gets used for outdoor sports.

There are many sporting events where all I need is one 5D3 and the 70-200. I'll grab the 40 2.8 pancake for a backup if I need a group shot. The 40 is also used for traveling light on either a 5D3 or a 60D, pending the field of view that I'm after.

I've kept the 7D, the 60D, and older lenses for use by other family members who a budding, young, photographers.

When I want to travel really light, it's S100 time. But, I recently added a G16 for this purpose.

Hi Helios.
I voted other, I use my camera most often to document things, restoration work on cars I work on and car shows.
I think if you were to allow multiple selection you might get a more meaningful result, as I like to take pictures of landscapes, wildlife and sport (if motor racing counts as a sport) and to my mind you are missing a category that would encompass aircraft.
My favourite thing is possibly candids at family events, birthdays and such! It could be just taking pictures. There are some interesting answers so far.

Cheers, Graham.
