What Lens/Body should I use?

I am going to be shooting a local high school football game this Friday night and I cant decide what I should shoot with when I'm there.
I was thinking about using the 6d with the 70-200 2.8 and using the 60d with a 24-105 for when there is a lot of light.
When it gets darker outside and when I am relying on the stadium lights I would just put away the 60d and the 24-105 and just shoot with the 6d and the 70-200 2.8 and not worry about the fans and the side line pictures as much.

Thanks for the help deciding.

Given the gear listed in your signature, I think your plan sounds like a good one!

You might consider the sigma ultra wide on the 60D for some close-up, upward-looking, wide-angle shots of fans (intentional perspective distortion), just for fun.

You might consider just take your 6D and leave the 60D at home given the lenses you listed. I was at a high school game last Friday night and my rebel had a hell of a time with action shots (or rather any shot) once the sun went down. I gave up in the 4rd quarter, but my results are due to the gear I have. I guess I don't see the need to carry the 60D unless you are not wanting to change lenses during the game.
