I used to be an absolute gear head when I was still actively playing guitar and I used to sell and buy gear like crazy and of course obsess over equipment more than actually practicing.

With photography I do not want to fall into that trap, so I try to keep as minimal a kit as possible.

Thanks, Maximilian! While I was out taking some just plain horrible shots of Canadian Geese chasing each other around some Mallards, I decided to return to the car for the 100-400 and enjoy the snow covered trees.
