Tbh newbies with RF24-105STM/RF-S 18-150, 100-400, 16, 28, 50 are completed for general purposes. The enthusiasts that keep pushing the "3rd party f2.8 zoom holy grail" narratives are getting out of hand. Not at the entry level.
Although, I do not think those are the people whining.
I come across a lot of folks whining on their behalf.
Most entry-level people buy a kit lens and maybe a nifty 50.
Adding in more lens choices adds more confusion.
As if cameras will be unable to AF in f6.3/f8 like the old days.
Recently I found the Digital teleconverter on R50/R8 to be extremely handy with the RF16 & RF28. The x2 jpgs are clean&decent enough for static shots.
