Canon USA has restocked a lot of refurbished Canon EOS R cameras and kits, and they're on sale as a bonus. These are the same level of sales during Black Friday, but they're still pretty good. Remember, all Canon USA refurbished gear comes with a full 1-year Canon USA warranty.

  1. So the refurbished R6 is now $1800, that must be a joke right? If a brand new R6 Mark II sells for $2000 from an authorized Canon dealer then the original R6, refurbished should be no more than $1200.

Also the R3 is now $4500 when it was $4000 just 3 weeks ago on Black Friday, oh well there will always be another Black Friday next year, Not to mention CP+ and the announcement of the R5 Mark II which should bring the prices of the R3 and R5 further down to earth

Canon prices refurbished gear typically at 10% less than new, so the price for the R6 is spot on. The R6 II is currently having a significant sale. 1999 is not the normal price.

Timing is everything. I bought the Canon 10x42L binoculars over the summer, they list for $1500 and refurbished lists for $1200. I paid $1120 new from Canon direct, thanks to $100 instant savings (which is often applied) and a 20% off sale on top of that. They were in stock at that price for only a couple of hours.

If there’s an item you want and you’d like to save some cash, set a price alert at CPW, and be prepared to act fast.

Wish they'd bring back the Black Friday prices. They have the RF 15-35mm lens in stock for $1709. Add in tax and it's about $1840 where I live. A new one on B&H right now is $1899 with their current sale and you can get tax free with their credit card, so really only saving about $60 at the moment.

Yes, that is a joke since I just picked up a refurbished R6 Mark II for $1759. The refurbished R6 II is now lower than it was during the Black Friday sale. It was $1799 then and the R6 was $1099.

Black Friday comes but once a year...but that doesn't always mean the best prices.
