Very cool, it looks like they’ve shrunk the design significantly and internalized the antenna!
Possibly to about the same size as Canon’s Speedlite Transmitter.

Is that a flash shoe on top of it?

My prayers have been answered. I was looking into getting a set, but the size was a real turn off. Nice to see that they are a forward thinking company, able to read minds.

1 – unless they can use TTL and high speed sync then the size issue isn’t that much of a turn on for me. I already have a set and i love them in the studio but in the real world I hate to say it but I prefer my ste2 since i can move on the fly and get ETTL.
2. When have you ever seen anything get cheaper in a new model?
Heres hoping that at least one of the above wishes is granted…

I bet they can do ETTL, are compatible (non TTL) with current Pocketwizards, can be computer controlled via Wi-Fi and have better range.

It’s about time! The current Plus II are too big and don’t have auto-shut off… I hate forgetting the things on and then running out of battery in the middle of a photo shoot…

Stark-Arts the Multimax has hi speed sync up to 1/1000 but if your flashes don’t then it’s useless…

did not know that – that is a good bit of info but it would still be so much more useful with ttl since then i could make adjustments on the fly…
It would make me hate myself for having bought and ste2 last month but still…I’d buy them if they are ttl with hi speed sync

Canon should be ashamed of themselves for allowing a 3rd party manufacturer to create a product that fills in the holes of their own wireless flash system.
