    The 7D shipped with firmware version 1.07. Someone claims to have a camera with firmware version 1.09.

      I don’t think Canon will ever get around to their own 64-bit drivers.

      The 7D has a tighter sound because on the puny mirror over the puny sensor. ;-)

      It would make my life easier with Windows 7. Currently the file icons don’t display an image of the picture on either Vista 64 or Windows 7.

      I have Win 7 64-bit also, there is NO Canon codec that allows viewing of the RAW images in Windows Explorer for 64-bit OS’s. Kind of stinky for Canon to push 64-bit aside, it’s finally making it to the surface, and Win 7 is going to be a big part of that.
