I received notice that there will be a Canon announcement on November, 24, 2009 in regards to a new 70-200 f/2.8L IS II.
No word on any other lenses being announced. Still waiting on CR3 confirmation.

Well, its near the end of this year, nothing about an upgrade to the 70-200 F2.8 L USM IS.
I think I will buy the “old” one next week :)
