well, almost everyone.
The following firmware is said to update these cameras to work with the WFT-E2 II.

The 5D Mark II gets an added fix, see the note.

Stealth Upgrades?
I'm not sure if anyone has ever confirmed a Canon firmware update to include undisclosed tweaks and fixes. Anyone know for sure?

thanks Ray

  1. Brian, you are a baby, no costructive discussion at all with you, keep your Internet stupid in the way you wish: the only you can.

  2. only ISO400 if you select ***AUTO ISO*** in manual mode. There is a bit of contradiction between manual mode & auto ISO, (similar to AEB not possible in M).

I actually find having to choose between either a specific setting (for each of 3 exposure settings: aperture, shutter & ISO) or leave all or smome of them completely open-ended under the mercy of the camera’s metering in the different modes (auto, aperture priority, shutter priority, manual), I find that too stupid sticking to old PSAM traditions that were established when technology was so limited & limiting. I mean today’s camera processors should be more than able to handle user-selectable ranges (w/ minimum and maximum) for each of the 3 exposure settings. For example if you want to shoot a handheld landscape, you just need f=8 or f=11 for best results, you don’t need a specific shutter speed, just want it to be no slower than 1/125, you don’t need a specific ISO, just want it to be no higher than ISO800. There is no way to tell a modern camera to not go beyond 1/125 & ISO800 with f8 in Av mode. Manual mode wouldn’t help either to express your relative flexibility WRT shutter & ISO.
