My Sony camera had it, but I never used it. It bothered me more than it was helping me. You can see a live view of the image anyway and you can also check out the live histogram if you are concerned about overexposures.

Bad wind, hard to focus on the point you would like (or at all )! The Fiery Skipper is common, the Smaller Lantana Buterfly is not suppose to be kind of rare too but in the last ~two years I actually see it first time. And I'm not sure I ever got a photo of the upper side of the wings (?).

Yes, likely the reports were about the R6 V, a more Video focused version of the R6 iii. I would think at the earliest we might see an R7 MKii in or around late winter 2027, but thinking late winter 2028 is more likely.

My Prograde CFE card works fine.
ps I decided to check for you a Manfrotto 128 GB CFE as it is a rebadged Delkin, which I have in my R5. It worked fine as well, but I discovered in the process the R5ii had switched over to slot 2. I re-checked the "Priority" box for card 1 in the first line of the Yellow menu. So, it's good me you asked the question and also I subsequently looked again.

I hope Canon don't try to make the RF 300-600mm f/5.6 "affordable", I really want a full on L lens as sharp as my RF 70-200mm f/2.8 Z
Hopefully with a 1.4x extender builtin for 420-840mm f/8 and a bit lighter than the RF 100-300mm f/2.8 if possible and the centre of gravity closer to the camera.
Variable aperture f/4-5.6 and wider zoom range would be nice too.

A removable lens foot would be nice and a shorter minimum focus distance.
I would expect it to be at least 10% maybe 20% more expensive but that's to be expected

i bought a used 20 1.4 and took it for a spin last week in the eastern sierra. i haven't processed the files yet but the raws look great. i also had the 24 1.4 but i sold it. my sigma 14 f1.8 art is the only ef lens i have. it is an amazing lens for astro and ain't going anywhere
