When I look at the crest, it seems more yellowish. Could be a goldcrest as well.

Should be a goldcrest.
A firecrest has a more orange/red crest and a yellow neck.
A goldcrest has a pure green/grey neck (and pure yellow crest).

Going through my old files... here is a pair of Paradise shellducks (Todorna variegata), species endemic to New Zealand. Lazy afternoon walk, lady in elegant white bonnet, and handsome sir sports a black hat, as it should be...

My old, good 7D with 70-200 /4 or kit zoom.
