I really like the first shot. Beautiful bird too.Today it was pretty much like the last few months (on Oahu): nothing interesting!
On other hand two weeks ago, going to work I encounter a flock of African Silver Bill. It's known here, not really that rare (but pretty localized!). It's not the interesting part: when they flush I for sure noticed a white rump on one of the birds!!! If you check on the difference between the African and the Indian Silver Bills you will understand what it means. The Indian Silver Bill have not be for sure documented for Hawaii! So, now I'm on hunt for the "white rump"(good luck to myself
)!
And here are the birds from today (No Silver Bill so far)! Very hot and the Pacific Golden Plower was taking a bath. The noise of my camera make him/her to freeze time to time giving me the opportunity to shoot on very calm back ground! So, it's all about the reflection (and may be also the shade!)!

The first one with shadow and rejection on the still water and looking at a one quarter angle was great!I really like your pictures, ISv. Especially the ones with the lovely reflections.![]()
Thank you very much.
Thanks!
They come to the Netherlands to breed so we get to see them when they’re at their most beautiful.
