Oh, and the sharpness is okay at f2 also ::)

Not bad Viggo, not bad at all ;)

Are you going to keep your 70-200?

Thanks man! Yeah, well, I'll say that question is quite open now.. 200 is my kind of focal length. Not too long, so highly useful and it's going to be hard to mount the 70200 instead of the 200, but there might be some situations where the 70-200 would make more sense, hm, neh :p the 2470 and the 200 is fitting me well. I will keep the 70200 at least half a year even if it doesn't get that much use, just to figure it out.

The 200 is a dream, but I feel the AF of the 70200 is better, that could be because of a bit more depth at 2.8 compared to f2 though.. And it takes me a while to set up my AF cases for each lens. the 70200 is lightning fast so there I had to pull the sensitivity down, but a step up again seemed better with the 200.

You can't go wrong with these two. Again, congrats on your new toy :)

Zebra Dove Geopelia striata by alabang, on Flickr

The Zebra Dove Geopelia striata, also known as Barred Ground Dove, is a bird of the dove family Columbidae, native to South-east Asia. It is closely related to the Peaceful Dove of Australia and New Guinea and the Barred Dove of eastern Indonesia. These two were classified as subspecies of the Zebra Dove until recently and the names Peaceful Dove and Barred Dove were often applied to the whole species.

Usually in December I'm used to -15-25 C, so to see +12 and nice sun is pretty nice! My son and I had to pop out on the playground. Shot wide open (what else?) ;)
