I have been following the Dynamic Range thread and I what I felt was an even more important factor for me and my purposes were color reproduction, specifically on skin tones. It was my 2nd biggest factor when looking at the 5D Mark III behind AF, any inputs on the color reproduction and rendition? Is this big for anyone else?

Yes, for me too! Colors are extremely important to me, knowing that a great part of them come from the quality of lenses though, I stress that we need a good comparison between all coming and available FF bodies!

It's just not known yet. Some think there are a few hints that the CFA array is more narrow band this time which could give the 5D3 a bit better tones and color discrimination than the 5D2 (although recently they have been getting more and more color-blind) but it's too early to say and even if so even if it makes a real world difference.

I am very curious to see these results, in the jpegs I have seen, not looking at DR or Clarity, I have seen very pleasing skin tones in the examples I have seen so far, which have made me personally very happy for my uses.
