5Dmk3 and 100f2.8L IS noise

playing with these last night and this lens makes some horrible noises with IS turned on
the 70-200 and 24-105 dont seem to make noises still have to test my 300 f4L
i wonder if its similar to the problem with the other lenses this problem shows up on
anyone else experienced it with the 100L?

Hopefully it's not a 5D3 bug!

I have to say my 100L has at times made some horrendous noises even used with my 5D2 and 7D last summer though, so it might just be the lens, I think it depends upon moving the lens+body in a certain way as it spools down or if you go to retrigger it while it was just starting to spool down or something. The noise is a bit scary sounding.

hmm never noticed it before on 5DMk2 or 1Dmk3 bodies i'll keep an ear on it and see how it goes
