Although I have not done loads of shooting yet with it, I have been deliberately trying to make the 5DSR moire, but have yet to be successful. Initially with this camera, I surmised that perhaps we have reached such a point in high resolution that moire would sooner than later become a virtual non-issue (99% of the time) as high density sensors no longer struggle to resolve fine patterns without creating the nasty artifact.
If anyone shooting with a 5DSR has encountered it, please post an image here!
Also, I have been trying to refine a method of successfully shooting such a high resolution sensor while maximizing results. Granted, this IS a studio machine that obviously (to me) prefers to be completely stabilized on a tripod and even perhaps a remote shutter release cable. But I'm finding 5x your focal length can get you really very good results.
I'd love to hear from other 5DS and 5DSR owners on their experiences with actual shooting! Please chime in!!
