Any more sightings (beside briefly at B&H) of the 100-400 II

Wonder if the B&H lenses were off a boat (LA docks, post strike) or if Canon ship some via air?

It would be nice to know when normal shipments will resume after the dock strike.

I pre-ordered my at B&H on 3-15, it showed up today 3-25. The web site still states that it's not in stock so you may want to pre-order it now.

My local camera store has had one sitting on the shelf for weeks! Still does as far as I know.

Don't know why more people aren't giving Camera Canada a call. They ship quickly and, with the current exchange rate, you can save about $270 US. Call them and tell them to send you a Paypal invoice in US dollars. Worked for me.

I think that normal shipments have resumed, but there are many pre-orders in queue. Just contact your local dealer, and he can likely get one in a week.

Bestbuy has had stock.. With the bb credit card you get 5% back so it covers most of the tax.
