Art Deco gas pump.

This is a pump near city hall in Mesquite, Nevada. There are few of these left in the wild and I like the art deco style. EF 35mm f/1.4L II, 6 stop ND filter, and one Canon 600 EX-RT.

Lovely vintage subject. Nice series.

"Pump2" puts it in best light IMO.
"Pump1 WEB" gives a great contrast with the modern stainless steel silos in the bg.

Interesting contrasts... pump looks old and rusted but external filter, hose & fittings and delivery nozzle all look brand new? In background silo with '76' on it is well aged but others are gleaming stainless.

Still have my Yamaha. Unfortunately I sinned and sold my Martin. Fortunately, I have never learned to play. So while I will miss holding her and sniffing the sound hole, the lens will get better used.

I sniffed the Yamaha sound hole... it just smells like glue.
