Canon 24-70 f/2.8 Mk II POST WHERE YOU KNOW THEY HAVE STOCK

I just ordered the 24-70 II from Newegg. They had four in stock when I ordered, so as of this post, they should still have three left.

They seem to be the only company in the USA that has current stock, and got VERY lucky with a brainstorm to take a look at NewEgg.... not generally thought of for photo equipment. I confirmed the stock with online chat and should have the lens by Friday latest.

If you've been looking to buy, I'd go IMMEDIATELY to NewEgg and see if the 24-70 page still shows stock.
Price same as everywhere else... $2299.00

Well.....

Hoping at least three of the 200+ people who read my original post got one of the three remaining lenses.
NewEgg is now showing out of stock. Bam!

Same situation in Germany, and I vaguely remember Canon stating that after the 24-70ii delay at least it'll be available in numbers now :-o ... so much for that. So it'll be quite a long time before we see discounted 5d3+24-70ii kits worldwide.

Its been available in several stores this week. They usually sell out quickly. However, in a few months, they will be discounted for short term sales, and in a year, the price will drop.
