Canon 60d flash prob..

Hey guys I have a lovely Canon EOS 60D
but have for som time i haven`t could open the on camera flash!! (approximately 2 week ago)
About 2 months ago I updated the firmware to 1.1.0

when I try to go into the "Build in flash menu" it says that the menu can`t be shown because an externel flash it mounted..

Ftr. I have a flash.. Canon Speedlite EX580II and ther isn`t any problems with that.

Yeah my 50D has the same issue. Haven't really bothered to fix it though since I only use an external flash 99% of the time. Neuro's correct though.

Happens to me all the time, though I was scared my camera was broken first time. Just scratch with your fingernail or a tiny screwdriver under the metal on the right side of the flash hotshoe and press the microswitch down, that should fix it. Not very reliable tech though I'm afraid to say.
