Two shots taken christmas day. The first is looking off my aunt and uncles house, the other is a portrait of my cousins oldest son who is a fashion designer. Both shot of course with the 24-105 on my 5D
I haven't seen many macro shots with this lens posted. I think it is pretty good on a 5DII when you have some room to crop . . .
Tv=1/3000
ISO=640
Av=f4.5
Crop=~50%

Here are some images of the 1909 Loof Carousel in Spokane's Riverfront Park that I took in 2008 with my 400D and 24-105mm L. The Carousel is in a specially constructed building, so light is low and all are at f/4 and ISO 800 which is pretty high for the 400D.
Perhaps this coming Labor Day I'll use my 5D MK II and 35mmL to upgrade the images. We have been going every Labor Day weekend to the festivities for a few years now, the weather is great, and there are lots of activities.
On the way back from Collingwood last Friday I could not help but get off the tram to take walk along Gertrude street and through the Carlton Gardens to enjoy the morning mist.
