Sweet shot Neuro, really nice bw convertion.

Thanks, Viggo! I was in Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago, took the opportunity to walk through the Eastern State Penitentiary - pretty cool place, and the photos just beg to be converted to B&W...

Has a nicely gritty feel that really compliments the subject.

Yes, a very nice shot. I went there several years ago, when I had a Canon super zoom camera, and I somehow left it in the cab when we got back, and someone stole it. I am glad, as it prompted me to get a better camera, but I did lose all the images I made there.

Interesting note to those who haven't been: this was where they shot the insane asylum scenes in the movie "12 Monkeys" with Brad Pitt, Bruce Willis. They reprinted one "spoke" in the wheel design there and did some serious dusting.

Something about this image is very fascinating ... I guess its the subject and the way you captured it ... almost like a black and white. Well done.

I absolutely agree, for me it's the soft light on matte paint and that nice pop from a very sharp lens and not a lot of dof. It's parked car, and yet I keep looking at it and it's a sweet picture, weird, but cool !
