Just received my 24-70, and was trying out 24mm in my front yard. The neighbor's horse wanted to check it out too

Its certainly better than the five 24-70 mark I lenses I have had, but I don't know if its worth over 2X the price. I have been using my 24-70L for product photography since I sold my 7D.
I tried out the 24-70 today, its totally worthless for product photography, at least the way I have been doing it.
So, I need to keep the 24-105, or get another crop body. I have a fixed camera mount on my light table, and the 7D + 15-85 was perfect, while the 5D MK III + 24-105 was also a good match.
I'm in no big hurry, I've a ton of cameras and lenses.

I'm not sure if the lens or 5D III(maybe both), but your photos are so much better now - huge diff in IQ, better contrast and POP. So much better compared to your pre gear 7D + EF-S 17-55.
