Packing for a much needed vacation but had a great shoot with my two favorite models about a week ago. Loved getting a call that I've been "hired" by both of them to do this... never worked all together and it was damn fun. Brought about 8 lenses to the studio and used only 1 for 95% of the shots. My much loved 24-70 II.

Just returned from a short trip to Pisa, Italy. Here are two images taken along the banks of the Arno River. One is a panorama from the north bank, the other is a small but beautiful cathedral right on the river, as seen from the Ponte Solferino.

"Along the Arno"

EOS 1D X, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM @ 24mm, 2s, f/11, ISO 100; 10 shots in portrait orientation

"Santa Maria della Spina"

EOS 1D X, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM @ 70mm, 8 s, f/11, ISO 400

As always, click for larger, and thanks for looking!

Beautiful John.

You captured the spirit and rarely seen beauty of the monuments. I went to college and grad school at GWU which was right there. The pics brought me back. Thanks for making me feel young again. Great shooting.
