That's the best thing I've ever seen on the Metro Blad :P

Yeah, I knew it would make a nice frontpage topic for the free newspaper, but the return of Andre Kuipers & the Football beat me to it so i put the 1Dx Body on top of it :)

btw I really really love the (owners manual page 174 & 322 feature), finally we have, spot metering on selected af point

Damn, last time I went around Blijdorp all I had was a 7D and 70-300 non-L (wish I'd at least had the 70-300 L that I have now). Got a 100/2.8 Macro? My missus had to drag me outta the butterfly house kicking and screaming...

Didn't the 1D and 1Ds already have spot-linked metering? (my EOS-3 has it, but it's limited to only 11 of the 45 AF points)

btw which shops would you recommend in nl (Rotterdam)?

Fotokonijnenberg.nl is just up in Den Haag, Tram 6 (i think) 3 stops from Centraal. It was just about the cheapest on the continent when I bought my kit a few years ago, although some prices don't look so good these days. Can't beat the service though, and they'll let you try out and play around with anything.
Also, there's a camera shop somewhere near Rotterdam Centraal, walk through all the construction sites (is it finished yet?) and turn right, it's on a fairly main road (i'll think of the name soon)
edit: found it http://www.cameraprofessional.nl/ it's on Weena just before the RandstadRail office. Didn't show up on Google maps, but I found it on street-view and got the website from their window (isn't technology great?). I didn't buy anything from them so don't know how cheap they are, but the guys sounded like they knew their stuff.
