Well, it will be 6 to 8 years before an R6 Mark V arrives (if)I never thought about that.
I am guessing it will just be R6 Five.
R6 V will be 'old' by then.
More important: it is called R6 Mark V

Also, has any Canon product ever reached mark V designation? Maybe one of the old 18-55 kit lenses?Well, it will be 6 to 8 years before an R6 Mark V arrives (if)

No EVF on the camera, it will be smaller.the lens looks big for 425grams or Idk if the camera is only small![]()
So this is exactly as the C50 with ibis? Im not seeing the difference except for ibis
RTFM: This post has a list of differences with the C50:I was wondering the same thing. But for $1,500 - $2,000 USD less +/- than the C50 it seems they will have to withhold some other features.
V = video. Like the R50 V. As pointed about above, the Roman numeral succession is formally Mark II, Mark III, etc. So R6 V is video, the R6 Mark V will come after the R6 Mark IV. There could be an R6 V Mark II, as well.I am so confused by this naming convention. Does that mean there will be no R6 IV? It went from R6 III to R6 V? Or is the V just supposed to mean "Video" and not a roman number?
