Is it a captive or a resistive touch screen? Resistive is cheaper to produce. It makes a huge difference in ease of use. Your phone has a captive screen, responds to light touches. I have a Lumix GF2, it has a resistive screen, you have to really press it, so much that they even include a stylus when you buy it. I don't find it useful at all, even for choosing focus points. I use the physical buttons instead.
