For those who need and/or are considering this lens, I rented one from Samy's last week to shoot a concert at LA's Sofi Stadium, and on the R5 the results are absolutely mindblowing. The focus hit rate was something like 90%, @ 1600iso on f3.5 going between 800-1200th second depending on the light. The images are the crispest and cleanest I've had of a show, and I've been shooting concerts since U2's ZooTV back in '92, so I have a good breadth of experience in the field. The lens is heavy and expensive, but the results are sensational.
