Here's a few shots I got shooing Voodoo Fest 2015...this is a GREAT little band I saw there..The Struts.

The singer looks and sounds very much like a young Freddie Mercury, but they were a nice bunch of kids....

Very much love music, and try to get shots at shows when I can... Great topic! A couple from Dam Jam 2013 (Denmark, ME) - Kristen Hirsch and the band Coke Weed, both sounding quite awesome.

I know, I know. I mostly post birds, but not all of those have feathers.
Here is one perky bird: Maja Ivarsson from The Sounds. From my first shooting from the ditch, during the Hx festival in Helsingborg, Sweden, in August.

She spits and swears, and one of those "treats" makes it rough shooting from the ditch. Camera and glass was weather-sealed, if there's a next time, I'll be too...

These are some shots I took at Jazz Fest here in New Orleans last year (2016).
I just got word my application to be on staff photographer has again been accepted this year!!!

First ones are of Arlo Guthrie...was sure cool to hear Alice's Restaurant resting my chin on my arms on the stage.

Sometimes its "good" to be a photographer....

Martina McBride from the second row, Peabody Opera House, St Louis, MO, about 3 weeks ago. Canon 5d Mk III, 70-200 f/2.8L. I've had the opportunity to shoot 3 of her concerts with the same camera that they let me walk in the door with. Very lucky to do that. I shot about 200 images at this particular show.
