People loved the quality of photos, they just weren't thrilled with most everything else. The new body is much more sturdy and it really is no longer a low-end FF camera; rather, they kicked it into a new bracket.
There is now a 7D/60D distinction. I wouldn't be surprised if Canon made a 60D equivalent of a 5D3. Cheapen up the body, put in the 60D's autofocus and metering, screen. Maybe just 1 SD slot. Retire the 5D2. Makes some sense now that the 5D line has many more pro features. There would be a rush to buy from people who have always wanted full frame, and maybe as a backup camera to some wedding togs.

i used to have two straps around my neck for my two bodies and they rub against your legs and waist from time ot time. Never poo poo a feature thats useful to someone.cps_user said:dual slots not worth it?
If you're a pro it's almost essential. And thinking turning mode dial by accident takes magic? Again, shoot professional PJ-style stuff and it'll happen sooner or later.
This dude is so humorous, i kept trying to remember some of the funny things he said so i could quote it but i gave up because he kept coming up with other funny stuff.wickidwombat said:Canon 5D Mark III Hands-on Review
