Hey, everyone
I can get a 135 L at a bargain, but the glass on the distance meter is missing. Can this be a problem - i.e. dust entering the lens, or it should not cause any problem?

Thanks

You can get a replacement from Canon for a few dollars. It is a sign that the lens might have seen some abuse, or the window might have just fallen off. In any event, plan on paying a low enough price to have canon do any necessary cleaning / repairs. It likely has dust and dirt in it if the window has been missing for a while.

With new ones selling for $1000, paying $700 means that with a trip to Canon and a minor repair, your final cost will likely be $1000 or more unless its perfect.
